Everton previously had Anfield as their home ground, but after a rent dispute in 1892, the rivals Liverpool remained there instead. Everton now plays their home matches at Goodison Park.

"The Toffees" have won the league title nine times, the FA Cup five times, and the Cup Winners' Cup once.

André Gomes, Dele Alli, Ademola Lookman, Michael Keane are some of the team's known players. The Swede Jesper Blomqvist also played for the team during 2001-2002.
