24 teams competing for the European Championship title

The UEFA European Championship 2024 will be held in Germany. A total of 24 teams will compete for the European Championship title in front of millions of TV viewers worldwide. UEFA also expects large crowds in all ten host cities around the country. The tournament kicks off on June 14 and concludes on July 14.


Football-EM.se is the ultimate meeting place for all football enthusiasts. Germany will host the European Football Championship 2024, where a total of ten cities around the country will host matches. Of these venues, nine were already used during the 2006 FIFA World Cup, when Germany was also the host nation. In addition, the Allianz Arena in Munich will be one of the EURO venues for the second championship in a row. In 2021, the EURO was held in several different countries and at a total of eleven different venues. All group winners and runners-up advance to the round of 16 in the EURO 2024. To complete the knockout phase, the four best third-placed teams also advance, meaning that a total of four out of six third-placed teams qualify for the knockout stage.


The first two round of 16 matches will take place in Berlin and Dortmund on June 29, 2024. The round of 16 matches then continue until July 2, 2024. The quarter-finals are played on July 5 and 6, followed by the semi-finals on July 9 and 10. The EURO 2024 final will take place on July 14 at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.
