Rúben Amorim became the new manager of Manchester United

Rúben Amorim, 39, is confirmed as the head coach for Manchester United, starting on November 11.

It wasn't long ago the club decided to sack Erik ten Hag, despite him having a contract until 2026. In other words, the focus is fully on the future, and Rúben Amorim has left the Lisbon club where he has been since 2020.

Rúben Amorim has signed a contract with Manchester United who play in the Premier League, and if all goes as planned, he will stay at least until 2027.

“Ruben is one of the most exciting and highly ranked young coaches in European football,” writes Man United on their website. The Portuguese will start his new task on November 11, and Ruud van Nistelrooy will lead the team until then.
