Everton FC was founded in the year 1878 and is one of the five most successful clubs in England. The club has become the English Premier League champions nine times and won the FA Cup five times. Everton is called “The Blues” or “The Toffees”, the later name originates from a confectionary called “Everton”. At first Everton played their home matches at Anfield but due to a rental conflict they left Anfield for Goodison Park.
