Allsvenskan - The Swedish football's Premier League

Allsvenskan is the top league in Swedish football and is one of the most prestigious football competitions in Sweden. Allsvenskan attracts both national and international interest.

Allsvenskan was founded in 1924 and has since been the hub for professional football in Sweden. Allsvenskan has undergone many changes and evolved over the years. The league currently consists of 16 teams competing against each other during a season that typically extends from spring to fall. Malmö FF and IFK Göteborg are two of the most prominent teams that not only compete on the field but also have a long history of rivalry. Their meetings always attract a large audience and create an electric atmosphere. Other teams like Djurgårdens IF, AIK, Hammarby IF, and IFK Norrköping also have strong followings and contribute to the rich diversity of talent and rivalry in the league. Their meetings are marked by excitement and unexpected results.

This year's Allsvenskan premiere takes place on Easter Saturday, March 30, 2024. It's been five years since Allsvenskan last started in March. The opening match this year is IFK Norrköping-Malmö FF at 15:00. March 30: Round 1 continues then with March 31: Hammarby-Kalmar FF (14.00), March 31: Gais-Brommapojkarna (14.00), and March 31: BK Häcken ��� Mjällby (16.30).
