About Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

The Premier League's most modern stadium - and the world's longest bar

Brief on Tottenham's New Stadium

White Hart Lane was the home of Tottenham FC from 1899 – 2017. In 2017, White Hart Lane was demolished to make way for Tottenham’s new stadium, with construction beginning the same year. During the 17/18 season, the club therefore played its home matches at Wembley Stadium while waiting for the new stadium, which is planned to be ready in time for the 18/19 season.

Tottenham's new stadium will have a seating capacity of 62,062 spectators and aims to be one of the best stadiums in the world. There has been a strong focus on the stadium experience, including seats closer to the pitch, various types of restaurants to cater to all tastes, new modern suites and lounges, a museum, and a fan area that will be alive 365 days a year with different events, attractions, and cafes. Last but not least, great attention has been paid to the home section, "Home Southern Stand", which will be the heart of the stadium with a design intended to generate "a wall of sound". The name of the stadium has not yet been confirmed, but it is very likely that the highest bidder will get the naming rights.

If you want to be one of the first to visit this state-of-the-art arena and have an experience out of the ordinary? We therefore recommend that you buy tickets well in advance, as high demand is expected!

Transport to Tottenham's New Stadium

Transport options are currently being improved and developed, with plans to make access to and from the stadium smoother than before. We recommend using public transport, either by train, subway, or bus, as the connections between London and Tottenham are good.

It is also easy to get to the stadium by taxi, but keep in mind that queues can occur, so be out in good time. You should, however, avoid driving as there are no plans for parking spaces to be available at the stadium.

Near the stadium, there are four stations to choose from if you are traveling by subway or train. The stations are Tottenham Hale, Seven Sisters, White Hart Lane Station, and Northumberland Park Station. The easiest way is to take the train (London Overground) from Liverpool Street Station to White Hart Lane Station, which takes about 20 minutes. It is also easy to get to Northumberland Park Station from Liverpool Street Station with National Rail services. From here, you can easily walk to the stadium in about 10 minutes.

To Tottenham Hale, you can take either the subway (Victoria Line, London Underground) or National Rail services, and it takes about 20 minutes to walk from the station to the stadium.

The Seven Sisters station is a 30-minute walk from the stadium, and you can get there by subway (Victoria Line) or train. There are good transport links between the station and the stadium for those who do not want to walk this distance. You can take either the bus or the train, depending on what suits you.

Once the transport infrastructure is fully developed, there will be up to 144 buses per hour to and from the stadium, from different locations in London/Tottenham. So if you want to see more of the city, it's also possible to take the bus all the way to the stadium.

Pubs and Restaurants

In Tottenham, the football atmosphere on match day is very pleasant, and for those who want to gear up before the match, there are a number of good pubs near the stadium. Away supporters should note that most pubs are for home fans only.

Some very popular pubs in Tottenham are The Bricklayers, Bell & Hare, and The Antwerp Arms, all three of which are a short walk from the stadium. If you are a Tottenham fan, we recommend going to The Bricklayers, a true Tottenham pub where both club scarves and photographs adorn the walls. Here, it can be quite crowded on match days, so if you're looking for a somewhat quieter environment, we instead recommend going to the Bell & Hare across the street.

In central London, there is a wealth of fantastic restaurants to choose from, but the selection in Tottenham is not quite as extensive. Therefore, if you want to enjoy really good food, we recommend eating in central London before or after the match. If you feel like eating something simpler, there are plenty of options to choose from in Tottenham. Outside the stadium, there are several food trucks for those willing to stand and eat. Most pubs also serve simpler food, so just choose and pick among the pubs around the stadium.

Inside the stadium area by the South Stand, there will be a large restaurant hall available for home fans. We also recommend going here if you are a Tottenham fan and want to eat or drink something before the match. From the restaurant hall, you can go directly to your seat in the stadium, which makes it very convenient!
