The game started with high intensity, with both teams trying to take control early. The Netherlands, known for their offensive and technical football, immediately put pressure on England's defense. Memphis Depay and Donyell Malen were constant threats in the Dutch offense, and it wasn't long before the first goal came. In the 14th

minute, Depay made a sleek preparation and passed the ball to Malen who skillfully placed it in the net behind Jordan Pickford. The early goal set the tone for what would become an intense match.

England quickly responded by increasing their offensive play. Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling led the attacks, and England's midfield, with Declan Rice and Mason Mount at the forefront, began to find their passes and open up the Netherlands' defense. In the 30th minute, the equalizer came when Sterling broke through on the left flank and sent in a perfect cross that Kane met with a powerful header. The score was now 1-1, and the game was open again.

In the second half, both teams continued to play with high intensity. Pickford was forced into several important saves, especially on a long-distance shot from Wijnaldum that was heading towards the top corner. As the final whistle approached, England struggled to maintain their lead.

In the final minutes of the match, the Netherlands got one last chance when they were awarded a free kick just outside the penalty area. Depay stepped up and sent a hard shot towards goal, but Pickford made a spectacular save and secured England's victory.
