Mohamed Salah, born on June 15, 1992, in Nagrig, a small village in Egypt, is one of the most prominent football players in the world today. With his incredible speed, technical skills, and ability to score goals, he has become one of the Premier League's biggest stars and a national symbol in Egypt.

Salah's football career started in Egypt where he played for the local club El Mokawloon. His talent was apparent early on, and he made his debut in the Egyptian Premier League at just 17 years old. Salah's impressive performances for El Mokawloon soon caught the attention of European clubs. In 2012, he made his first big move abroad when he signed for Swiss club FC Basel.

He broke records in his first season with the club, including scoring 32 goals in the Premier League – the most by any player in a 38-game season.

With Salah as a star, Liverpool won the Champions League in 2019 after an impressive campaign and the Premier League title in 2020 – Liverpool's first league title in 30 years. His performances made him an icon in Liverpool and an international football star.

Besides his achievements at the club level, Salah has been a crucial player for Egypt's national team. He helped Egypt qualify for its first World Cup in 28 years, the 2018 World Cup in Russia, where he scored two goals despite playing with a shoulder injury.
