Lost crucial points after Alexander Isak scored for Newcastle

It is now very tight at the top. Arsenal is closing in on Liverpool, as Manchester United was defeated with two corner goals.

Liverpool, which leads the Premier League, dropped crucial points after Alexander Isak scored for Newcastle in a match that ended 3–3.

At Emirates Stadium, Arsenal hosted Manchester United, and the first half did not produce any goals. In the second half, Arsenal showed its strength in set pieces. After 51 minutes, Jurriën Timber headed in the opening goal for the home team, and in the 73rd minute, William Saliba extended the lead to 2–0 – also after a corner.

Manchester United failed to put pressure on Arsenal's defense and left the field with a 2–0 loss. It was the team's first defeat under new manager Ruben Amorim, and the troubled team is now in eleventh place in the table.

For Arsenal, however, it was a successful evening. With three points, the team climbs to third place with 28 points, seven behind league leader Liverpool.
