An impressive match where the Swede Kulusevski continues to deliver

Tottenham won against Manchester City with a score of 2-1.

Tottenham Hotspur secured an impressive 2–1 victory over Manchester City in the league cup yesterday. In an entertaining match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs showcased a new side. The match marks an important milestone for Tottenham's new coach Ange Postecoglou and his goal to lead the team to success this season.


Dejan Kulusevski served Timo Werner in a one-on-one, and the German scored 1–0 just after 5 minutes. Dejan Kulusevski continues to impress. But after just 15 minutes, Micky van de Ven was seriously injured. However, in the 25th minute, Kulusevski showed his skill again, passing the ball to Pape Sarr who scored 2–0.


Savinho has had a significant breakthrough in recent weeks for Manchester City, but unfortunately, he too suffered an injury and had to be carried off the pitch with severe ankle pain. Tottenham won the match 2–1 and thus advances to the quarter-finals of the league cup.


Pep Guardiola now says they only have 13 first-team players available. "There has never been a situation like this before," he says according to Sky Sports. During Thursday's training, he says they have three players in training. "We have two goalkeepers and Erling Haaland. The rest are resting, so we have no more."


We will see how things develop for Manchester City in the Premier League. But it will certainly be exciting to follow Tottenham's success story in the next quarter-final match against Manchester United in the EFL Cup on December 17th.
