Allsvenskan - The Swedish football's Premier League

Allsvenskan is the highest league in Swedish football and is one of the most prestigious football competitions in Sweden. Allsvenskan attracts both national and international interest.

Allsvenskan was founded in 1924 and has since then been the hub for professional football in Sweden. Allsvenskan has gone through many changes and evolved over the years. The league currently consists of 16 teams that compete against each other during a season that usually stretches from spring to autumn. Malmö FF and IFK Göteborg are two of the most prominent teams that not only compete on the field but also have a long history of rivalry. Their meetings always attract a large audience and create an electric atmosphere. Other teams such as Djurgårdens IF, AIK, Hammarby IF, and IFK Norrköping also have strong followings and contribute to the rich diversity of talent and rivalry in the league.
